How to make your own distressed DIY jeans jacket
Hello Guys ?
I love the distressed/ripped jeans style. They’re so in right now and you can combine them in many different styles (e.g.: “chic” with some mid-high heels or “cool” with some cheeky sneakers). Purchasing distressed/ripped jeans jackets from the store can get very pricey. That’s why I decided to share my own DIY with you guys.
What you need…
- some jeans/jeans jacket
- a knife
- safety pin
- sandpaper or buffer
Before you start cutting the holes, you can distress them with some sandpaper or buffer. Now you can use a chalk or a pencil to make your marks where you want your distressed area. Afterwards, you start cutting your jeans in parallel and horizontal stripes with a knife or scissor.
Use your safety pin to pull the horizontal white threads apart.
To remove the vertical threads you can use your tweezers for help.
Now, you can start rubbing the endings with some sandpaper or buffer, to make it look more distressed and fashionable.
