Summer Milkshake Recipes
Summer is here! The weather is getting warmer, the bikini season is about to start and the sunshine has a mood-boosting effect on us. That is because the levels of the neurotransmitter “Serotonin”, which is also used to treat depression, are higher on bright days. However, I know something else that will boost your serotonin activity…ice cold milkshakes! What is better than sipping on a milkshakes while enjoying the sunshine and reading a book, listening to music or just relaxing by the pool. Well…unicorns are, but what if your milkshake would look as cute as a unicorn does?
Here are two different milkshake recipes and decoration ideas for you!
Pink-Berry-Milkshake for Two:
♥ 250 ml milk ♥ 250 ml strawberry ice cream ♥ 10-15 strawberries (depends on their size) ♥ 2 handfuls of raspberries
First of all, put the milk and the ice cream into the blender. Cut the fruits into little pieces and add them to the shake. Finally, blend again. We decided to decorate our shakes with some pink donuts, fruits and sweets.
Vanilla-Oreo-Shake for Two:
♥ 300 ml milk (10 oz) ♥ 250 ml ice cream (8,5 oz) ♥ 10 Oreo cookies (2,5 packs)
Blending/Mixing all the ingredients together until the formula is smooth and liquid, is all you have to do.
These milkshakes are not only tasty, but very easy to make, too. You should definitely try it out!
